Bytching on my Bytch Blog!

Ok I haven't really bytched on my blog even though it’s called My Bytch Blog. So now I will bytch.

It never ceases to amaze me how little people want to do but how much they expect or want. I belong to an organization that is for pure fun...but not for the person organizing it. She has had a lot on her plate for a long time now and no one has stepped up to help. I have offered now that I know what is going on. People, in general, don't really want to put in much effort to anything anymore even if it is something that they are interested in.

I am not a native to the state I live in so I can say this viewing the situation from an outside perspective. People in the state that I live in don't care about anything. They have been Californicated. Yes I said it. I am not fond of California people (with few exceptions) because of their too laid back, don't care, not my problem attitude. Unfortunately, Colorado has had a large infusion of California people and their attitude and demeanor has rubbed off in a terrible way. People no longer care if someone has taken time and effort to do something they will RSVP and not show or NOT RSVP and then show without regard to anyone.

There is an old saying "It is not a problem for those not doing the work” and with what I have been witnessing in peoples actions, it is true.

Come on people! Get with the program. If you don't want to do something, fine. Then don't bytch and moan when it doesn't go your way. Try to remember YOU ARE NOT the center of the universe. If you want to help or if you think you can do a better job, get off your ass and do something. Complaining and whining like a little girl only makes you look like the loser you are. If you are too lazy or don't have any time to help and don't like the way things are going, than freakin' leave. No one is holding you captive. You can leave at anytime, no hard feelings; don't let the door hit you on the way out!

I say this not to be mean but to send a message (those of you who think that this might be targeting you, you are probably right) that if you belong to an organization or party affiliate or anything you will have to make a decision to either be a leader or a follower. If you chose to be a follower, don’t be the whinny, bytchy follower that no one wants around, and if you think you can be a better leader, than do it; plain and simple.

Bottom line, if something means something to you, than work for it. Do something. Get off your ass and be productive. This should help you decide if you really want to belong or you simply don’t care enough to bother, in which case…leave!

Isn't this over yet?!

Sometimes I just want to scream! It feels like the last 2 and half years have just taken a crap on me and my family and there seems no end in sight.  Oh let's recap shall we... 2016 was my son's first open heart surgery followed by a plethora of doctor's appointments and other surgeries. I thought it was over by the end of the year and took the advice of Whitney Houston and friends when I exhaled. However, my fun filled days were not over yet and I found myself dumbfounded by the turn of events in my life.  2017 started out fine...well not really. January brought us the bad news that our black Lab Molly Mae had cancer. It was in her bones and basically there was nothing to do but love her.  So, that's what we did. We took her home and loved her. Then, in April we were informed that my son needed to have another open heart surgery because the tissue valve that they put in was not performing the way that they thought that it would and now needed ...

Day 6 Shake Day

This is day six and although there wasn't anything really eventful about the day there are updates to be shared. My husband and I have noticed that we are sleeping better and waking up with fewer aches and pains and issues. Now, we are not sure if that's because of the weight loss or the cleansing that we are going through. Also, I have noticed that while studying for my LSAT I have more focus and ability to analyze better. My exercise stamina is better. I did workout again at the gym but I am winding down. I am only doing 45 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes walking. No extra bike ride tonight. All in all, we are getting used to the program and feel that we have benefited from it. We are also going to continue try to reach our respective goal weight. Our next purchase will be the 30 program which we will share. Since it cost $200+ each we are trying save money by just splitting it. I will keep you posted and on Tuesday of next week (August 16th) I will post our 9 day pr...

3 day nail check in

It had been three days since I have removed my nails and coated them with Sally Hansen's Hard as Wraps nail covering. Now the directions say to take off the polish after three days and restart the process all over again with two (2) new coats. When they say that you need to remove the polish after three days and start over, they mean it. Here is what happens on the third day, prompting you to remove the polish. My nails with the initial tear on the polish. The polish starts to lift and tear off. It started with a small uplift on the side of my nails and I pulled off the rest. Surprisingly, the whole thing came off without having to use nail polish remover. The problem with that, though, is that my nails underneath are still very thin and weak.  In this picture the nail is bent. It's a little hard to see it but I am bending my nail. The weak condition of my nails has continued and I see no real change to them . The next picture is of  the top of my nail, showing the te...
